Reviews of Epiphone Les Paul Special II Electric Guitar Feature: Nothing special here, but i love chromed hardware. if you specialize in any specific style, get new pickups that fit that style, But if you love variety they're Great. Quality: I've had mine for only 1 year but no problems. It does always feel like a quality piece of work. No loose parts or blemishes whatsoever. more dependable than Chevy claims their trucks are. Gibson-like quality. Value: Yes, definetly, it can do good in making sounds you wuold need 3 or 4 other guitars to. Desirability: One kick @$$ feature is the thin Strat-like body which is light and balanced, whereas the Gibson Les Paul is balanced, but it is thick and heavy. Best part, you can feel like Slash without months of overtime and donating blood or taking out a second mortgage. Sound: It is an amazing sounding guitar for its price range, good still if the price is not considered. 3 way pickup selector for a wide range of sounds. Support: I have had absolutley no problems with this guitar, so i cant really answer this. Overall: I will probably keep mine for a long time, maybe some upgrades. if i had to get a new guitar, it would probably be this one, probably in a different color.
