Reviews of Fender 64 Vibroverb Custom Blackface Tube Amplifier Feature: Has everything you need. No onbaord effects, but for what it's designed to do you really don't need anything other than reverb. Quality: Built like you'd expect from Fender--well made cab, no rattles. Value: A little pricey, but considering what a vintage one costs, plus the modification costs--it's worth every penney. Desirability: It's cool looking--everyone of my guitar buddies' eyes lit up when they saw it. Sound: SRV tone to the max! Very touch dynamic, really makes my Strat my favorite axe. A definite Blues machine. Support: Haven't needed to use, but I called once about biasing for tubes--courteous and friendly. Overall: Great amp--I run a multi-amp setup, and it blends easily with my '57 Bassman. I run a THD HotPlate with it to quiet it down in my house--works great. I also run a Vibratone cab with it...SRV sound without a doubt.
