Reviews of Gibson Les Paul Standard Double Cutaway Plus Electric Guitar (With Case) Feature: Like the simplicity of the Tone/Volume controls. The only let down ist the 24 frets. Gibson should have made this Guitar with 22 frets like the single cut away. The AAA Maple top looks stunning. Mine's a second hand 98 model finished in a Translucent Green Quality: Guitar was 2nd hand but it was still excellent. Gibson very helpful with any questions relating to any Guitar they make. Value: Bought on E-bay. Desirability: Get one, you won't be disapointed. Sound: Great Guitar, The Pickups are spot on, it sounds great unpugged, sustains better than any Fender. Its much better than the Les Paul Custom (Black Beauty) I used to own. That one broke your shoulder. Th Double Cut is an Ideal weight. Support: As above. Overall: This Guitar will last forever!
