Reviews of Jay Turser JTB2B 4-String Electric Bass Feature: Extremely basic. Quality: Hey, you get what you pay for. Value: Good value for a kick-around bass. If this will be your only bass - don't buy it. Desirability: I have the luxury of owning several basses - so I think of this as a nice little for-kicks addition to my collection. Sound: The bass has a pleasant acoustic sound - great for soft pop - not so great for anything heavy. One big problem is that it doesn't keep in tune as you play further up the neck. Overall: Look, t'is what it is. It's a toy - not a serious bass. But as a toy, it's fun to play.
