Reviews of Microboards CDR80 80-Minute Blank CDRs in Spindle (50 discs)
Overall: I've done a lot of research and comparison over the past five years on CD-Rs, and Taiyo Yuden/Microboards discs have performed most consistently. The only time I've ever had any problems with these discs is when I play them so much they start to get scuffed up or when I leave them in the car and they're exposed to temperature changes, which will cause problems for any CD-R. Those cases are strictly disposable compilations I make for listening while driving. Any discs I burn for archival purposes I keep in a moderate environment and rarely use except to make further copies. Those particular discs are still fine after 5 years. So far, so good, so I'm sticking with Microboards. Highly recommended.
