Reviews of Martin D35 Acoustic Guitar (with Case)
Feature: This guitar is not one of Martin's most ornate..it's 3 piece rosewood back is an eye catcher though. The quality of woods used make this instrument are plainly beautiful.
Quality: My Martin has treated me well in the 33 years I've owned it. The only work done to it consisted of a recent neck set, replacement of frets, and a small crack in the upper bout area
Value: I'm a firm believer in, "You Get What You Pay For!" This is not an inexpensive instrument...it's also not a toy.
Sound: I bought my D35 in 1970 and have played the butt off it. It's rich sound stands out when jamming with guitars of equal caliber. It has alot of bottom end and is ideal for playing rythm.
Support: I have only dealt with the Martin company for info on a (like mint)1940 0018 guitar I own; and, they were very informative and helpful. Let's face it..any company that's been around for over one hundred years has to be doing something right. As far as I know, all Martin's have a life time warranty to the original owner: in case something should go wrong.
Overall: This is an instrument that will last throughout your life time and can be passed on as a heirloom. As an investment...it's a much safer bet than playing the stock market.
