Reviews of Marshall Electronics MXL1006BP Battery Powered Condenser Microphone Feature: Nice shock mount. Nice puke green color. Quality: Should last until WMD is found. Heavy enough to brain the singer. Value: Another cheap Chinese LDC, but I really like it. Oh yeah, Marshall Electronics do not make Jim Marshalls amps, are not Korg, etc. Desirability: Looks pro, especially in the shock mount with a pop-stopper. Unusual "Champagne" coloring is actually OK. Sound: My primary vocal mic.; it is a nice contrast to the Behringer B1. I prefer this as it is a little thicker sounding, and plays well with opto-compressors. Champagne taste on a beer budget; actually, it reminds me of Guiness. Support: No idea. It's a microphone. Overall: Permanent part of my microphone locker.
