Reviews of Schecter Stiletto Studio 5-String Electric Bass
Feature: I love the active pickups and tonal controls. It's a meaty piece of wood without the bolt on neck. I tried all the 5 strings at Sam Ash and Guitar Center and hands down felt this was the best 5 string there.
Quality: For the price, it costs twice as much or more to get the same features, and it doesn't look as ugly as a Warwick.
Value: Excellent value for price. The others in it's class cost 2-3x more!
Desirability: When I brought this home, my wife, a non-musician said, is that the only color it comes in? Well, yes. I don't pick my ball teams based on uniform color, do I? Well, honey satin is a nice finish, but I guess a variety of a few other colors would be nice.
Sound: Very versatile for all types of music. Snappy on top, boomy on bottom
Support: NA
Overall: It's my first 5 string, but I like the playability, looks, price, and versatility of the product. It is the best thing out there for the price.
