Reviews of ST Audio DSP2000 C-Port 24-Bit 96kHz Recording Interface Feature: Features are OK for the money. Mic Preamps are OK. easy operation. Quality: Product is solidly built IMO. Value: value is good for the money. Desirability: It is OK, again considering the money spent. Sound: Sound is very compromising. I tried to make a decent mix of my rock band, and had to use so many plugins, just to get a decent sound. Just now bought Tascam FW 1884, and there are worlds of difference in the terms of sound. did throw away 90% of the plug in processors. If you are looking for reference recordings, it is a good value for the money, if it is good sound you are after, you better save up some bucks and get serious gear. Support: Cannot judge, did not use, but from what I hear it certainly has some room for improvement. Overall: I thought my ears suck, but after connecting the FW 1884, i could definitively hear things.
