Reviews of Tascam 788 24-Bit 8-Track Digital Portastudio Feature: far more features than I expected. Great quality effects Quality: great quality!!!!!!!, beautiful and well-made machine. Value: nice value, little expensive for the old 788 (since 2000) Desirability: YEAH!!! Sound: sounds GREAT, but definitely needs a tube-preamp. Support: HORRIBLE SUPPORT, I mean it, go into www.tascam.com and try to find something about 788 support or support e-mail. No forums, no FAQ's NOTHING. I need to know if I can connect the 788 directly to my computer, so I can import tracks. Overall: nice machine but absolutely no support.
