Reviews of Tascam CDRW750 Standalone CD Recorder Feature: But... wish you could browse forward and backward during playback as you can on a PC. Without this it's hard to locate flaws. Quality: Have burned hundres of records. No complaints. It's a good idea to burn on CD/RWs so that if you make a mistake in queing or compiling your master (from an LP) you can simply erase the last track and resume your recording from that point. For example, on 4 sided LPs, you need to perform 4 starts correctly - without pops or noises. Sound: I'm a 30 yr classical musician converting large classical record collection. Makes LP to CD recordings with flawless fidelity. Support: Called Tascam for help with automatic track identification. Got Tech Support top level help in minutes, very patient and competent. Overall: I might spring for a TWO cd drive version of the same unit. It's a nuisance having to run to a PC to make copies of my masters.
