Reviews of Yamaha AA5 Portable Stereo Instrument Amplifier Feature: Its pr5etty basic, but everything works. Plus, its small, light, and build well. I especially like the 1/4" tripod socket on the bottom -- works with any standard camera tripod! Having a line out -- even if it is mono -- is also a nice feature. I haven't had it long enough to know how long batteries last. Quality: I get the sense you could drop it down a flight of stairs and it'd be fine. Sound: Its not terribly loud, but the two speakers are definitely an improvement on others (e.g. Pignose).
